“Ubuntu Tutorials” Launched By Canonical, Here’s How To Download All Content

Ubuntu Tutorials is a website launched by Canonical. Designed with an aim to serve the developer and coder community, this website hosts a collection of various walkthroughs to make your work easier. Canonical has also created a snap of all tutorials to help you carry them around and work offline.

Ubuntu is the most popular open source operating system being used by millions of people around the globe. To make it more popular among the developer community, Ubuntu parent Canonical has launched a new platform for Ubuntu-related tutorials.

Aptly named Ubuntu Tutorials, this website is based on Google’s open source Codelab framework. Please note that the website isn’t intended to serve the needs of beginners and self-learners who are new to Linux ecosystem.
The website describes itself as a collection of topic-specific walkthroughs that give you a practical experience on a particular domain. “They provide a step-by-step process to doing development and devops activities on Ubuntu machines, servers or devices,” it says.
Canonical has also listed 4 salient points of each tutorial:
  • A clear and detailed summary
  • The difficulty level
  • Estimated completion time
  • A “where to go from there” suggestion
